When it comes to walk-in freezers, safety and reliability depend on more than just insulated panels and heavy-duty doors. One of the most critical components is the pressure relief vent.
Why They’re Important

Every time a freezer door is opened and closed, warm air enters and then contracts as it cools, creating a strong vacuum. Without a PRV, this pressure difference can make the door difficult to reopen—or worse, damage the door and gasket.

A properly installed PRV allows air to balance naturally, ensuring the freezer operates smoothly without forcing equipment to work harder.

Sudden pressure imbalances can compromise the seal of your freezer, risking temperature fluctuations that put your stored product at risk.
